Coding and Robotics March 2021 _________________________________________ We have grown from 12 to 30 students in our third coding session of the year! We are a coding club that is welcoming for all students at Papakura High School and the local community. We have a safe and friendly environment where students have the opportunity to enjoy learning to code using a variety of tools such as Grok Learning to code in Python and Minecraft for Education. Today we introduced Robotics where students were able to build a robot from scratch in 40 minutes. Janet Van from Kiwibots volunteered to help our students by providing this exciting opportunity. Janet is the national manager for Kiwibots. https://www.kiwibots.co.nz/ After speaking to the students they showed a keen interest in robotics.
